What we collect

  • Account basics: your name, email address, and login credentials.
  • Membership status: whether your free "God is Good" plan is active.
  • Study content you create: journal notes, highlights, saved verses, study plans, and forum posts.
  • Study requests: the verses, words, and topics you ask about, so results can be generated and shown back to you.

What we never collect

No payment card, bank, or billing information — the plan is free and there is no payment gateway. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

How your data is used

To sign you in, keep your study material available across devices, generate AI study insights on your request, and moderate the community forum. Verse and word queries are sent to an AI provider to produce the response; they are not used to advertise to you.

Who can see your notes

Journal notes, highlights, and saved verses are private to your account and protected by row-level database rules. Forum posts are visible to other signed-in members. Administrators can access account records for support and moderation.

Local storage on your device

Your browser stores your session and your last reading position so the reader can return you to where you left off. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Retention and deletion

Your content is kept while your account exists. You can delete individual notes, highlights, and posts at any time. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your profile and study content.

Children

God's Sword is intended for use by church members and their families. Accounts for younger children should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.
